Each retreat gathers ten women in an intimate, inspiring setting. Days are woven with reading circles, creative workshops, and explorations of nature or historic castles, giving words new resonance.
Discussions deepen by the fireside, meals are shared in conviviality, and every moment becomes a space to nourish imagination and creativity.

"From the moment I stepped foot in the Lodge, I knew this would be it.
I was already pretty convinced by the scenery when driving up the road to the lodge, which is isolated, surrounded by mountains, rivers and ancient trees. But the feeling of warmth, magic and peace I felt when I pushed the entry door of the lodge was unlike anything else.
Each door that I opened in the Lodge revealed one beautiful and magical room after the other: the dining room, the two living rooms, the cosy bedrooms and stunning bathrooms.
I just felt so excited to share the lodge with other book lovers, and I knew right away that Wild Read, with this lodge, would be able to fulfil their dreams of cosiness, historical magic and immersive magic.
I just loved how much light pushed through the windows of the gigantic house as well. It was a gloomy day in Scotland, which is not unusual, but somehow this Lodge gave warmth in its cosy details and tartan couches, ancient rugs and beautiful paintings.
Time stopped when I entered Forest Lodge, and that is EXACTLY what I want for our participants...
