Reading Retreats for Women
Last Updated: December 2025

1. Booking & Payment

Your space at the retreat is secured once the non-refundable deposit has been received.
All payments must be made through the method indicated on the Wild Read website.
Prices are displayed in euros (€).
The remaining balance (if applicable) must be paid by the deadline specified at the time of booking.
If the final balance is not received on time, Wild Read reserves the right to cancel your booking without refund of any amount already paid.
By submitting your deposit, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions. This forms a binding agreement between you and Wild Read.

2. Cancellation & Refund Policy (Participant)

In accordance with Articles L221-18 et seq. of the French Consumer Code, participants benefit from a 14-day withdrawal period starting from the date of payment of the deposit.
During this period, participants may withdraw from the booking without providing any reason and receive a full refund of the deposit, in compliance with applicable law.

After the withdrawal period:
Once the 14-day statutory withdrawal period has elapsed, the deposit becomes strictly non-refundable.
After this time, no refund, cancellation, or credit can be granted, regardless of the reason.

Payment of the remaining balance:
The remaining balance must be paid by the specified date (e.g., February 27, 2026).
In accordance with Article L221-28, 13° of the French Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal does not apply to the final payment for services whose performance is scheduled to begin on a specific date chosen by the participant.
Once the balance is paid, it becomes strictly non-refundable, regardless of the reason for cancellation.

Cancellation due to non-payment:
If full payment is not received by the due date, the booking may be offered to another participant.

3. Cancellation by Wild Read

Wild Read may cancel the retreat in the event of:
insufficient participant numbers,
safety concerns,
issues with the venue,
organiser illness or emergency,
force majeure (natural disaster, restrictions, strikes, etc.).
In such cases:
All payments already made will be fully refunded.
Wild Read is not responsible for any external costs, including travel, flights, accommodation outside the retreat, or other non-retreat expenses.

4. Participant Responsibilities

By booking, participants agree to:
Provide accurate and complete information during registration.
Inform Wild Read of any allergies, medical conditions, or dietary requirements prior to the retreat.
